Job summary

DSV Air & Sea SAU in Cape Town is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage transporters, align with client requirements, and ensure service levels. You will develop strong relationships with clients and transporters, monitor KPIs, and support process improvements across inbound, outbound and cross-border flows.

The role focuses on compliance, data integrity, and proactive issue resolution in a busy warehouse and transport environment.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent.
• Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Transport Management (Advantageous).
• Intermediate to proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for data management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Transporter management: coordinate and consolidate transporter information for client deliverables.
• Understand client business and requirements; maintain strong client/transporter relationships.
• Develop and execute contracts, SLAs and KPIs; drive on-time performance and issue resolution.
• Maintain KPI reports and ensure data accuracy in transporter systems.
• Daily meetings with stakeholders; manage client queries and escalation within KPI.
• Support process creation, SOPs, training, and change management rollout.
