Placements24 is seeking a visionary Information Security Architect for a fully remote role. You will define and drive the enterprise security architecture, guide technology choices, and embed security into the design of all IT systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in information security with a focus on security architecture.
• Proven experience designing security solutions in distributed environments.
• Deep knowledge of security principles, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, IAM).
• Experience designing security for cloud environments.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise information security architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Design secure solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on‑premises infrastructure.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies and tools to address evolving threats and business needs.
• Develop security standards, guidelines, and best practices for application development, network design, and data protection.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business units to ensure security requirements are met throughout the system lifecycle.
• Lead security architecture reviews and provide expert guidance on security best practices for complex projects.
