Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting a seasoned Cloud Security Architect for a fully remote position. You will design, implement, and manage secure cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation while integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in information security, with 3+ years focused on cloud security, strong networking and cryptography knowledge, and leadership ability to guide remote engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 6 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years focused on cloud security.
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles and services across major cloud providers.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container security.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cryptography, and security automation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide technical teams in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Design secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and implement cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Oversee deployment and management of cloud security tools, including firewalls, WAFs, and IAM.
• Conduct security assessments of cloud deployments and identify vulnerabilities.
• Lead incident response efforts for cloud-based security breaches.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to secure CI/CD pipelines.
