Placements24 is seeking an innovative Cloud Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure cloud environments in a fully remote setting. You will partner with engineering and operations to shape scalable, resilient cloud solutions while enforcing security best practices across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's preferred.
• 6+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on cloud security architecture.
• Proven expertise securing AWS, Azure, and GCP and their native security services.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and data protection strategies.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container security.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and implement cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Implement and manage cloud-native security tools, including firewalls, IAM, security groups, and monitoring solutions.
• Conduct security reviews of cloud architectures and deployments, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Lead efforts in securing cloud-based applications, containers, and serverless functions.
• Respond to cloud security incidents and perform forensic investigations as needed.
