Placements24 is seeking a visionary Lead Information Security Architect to drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge security solutions for its globally distributed operations. This fully remote role defines the security architecture blueprint and embeds security by design from the start.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001, balancing risk and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of information security experience including 5+ years in security architecture.
• Proven experience designing security solutions in large-scale cloud environments.
• Expert knowledge of security principles and standards (NIST, ISO 27001) and threat modeling.
• Experience with IAM, data security, and network security design.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the organization's information security architecture strategy and standards.
• Design secure solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), networks, and applications.
• Develop security patterns and reference architectures to guide technology adoption.
• Lead security architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Evaluate and select new security technologies and tools to enhance the security posture.
• Ensure security architecture aligns with business requirements, regulatory compliance, and risk tolerance.
