Placements24 is seeking a Lead Information Security Architect to design and maintain the organization’s security architecture in a remote-first environment. You will guide security strategy, drive risk management, and mentor a distributed team across engineering, operations, and product areas.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent extensive experience).
• 10+ years in information security with at least 5 years in an architectural role.
• Proven expertise in designing secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP); strong knowledge of network and application security, IAM, and data security.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable security architecture for the enterprise.
• Develop and enforce security standards, patterns, and guidelines across technology domains.
• Lead evaluation and selection of security technologies and solutions.
• Oversee implementation of controls to protect against advanced threats.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to embed security by design.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the information security team.
• Define and manage security roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
