Job summary

Yassir in Pretoria is seeking an experienced HRIS Project Manager to lead end-to-end HRIS implementations and optimization. You will partner with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and business units to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, while driving adoption.

The role requires strong knowledge of HR processes, HR technology, and project management; responsibilities include data migrations, integrations, testing, and stabilisation post-implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience.
• Proven experience leading HRIS implementations.
• Understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience with cross-functional teams across HR, IT, Payroll, Finance.
• Experience integrating HRIS with Payroll, Identity Management, ATS or ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HRIS implementation projects from planning through post-go-live support.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage scope, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
• Monitor progress and communicate status to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate data migration, system integrations, testing (UAT), and production rollout.
• Provide post-implementation stabilization and continuous improvement.
