Job summary

Salix Recruitment client is seeking an experienced HRIS Practitioner to own the HRIS, ensure data integrity and payroll integration, and deliver insightful reporting.

You'll collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance and IT to optimize system performance and provide an exceptional user experience while driving process improvements across HR technology and analytics.

Qualifications

  • Must have HRIS experience with a focus on accuracy of employee data and payroll integration.
  • Experience with SAGE 300 or Premier HR is essential.
  • Strong reporting, analytics and data integrity capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain and optimise the SAGE 300 HRIS and ESS platform.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity and security of employee and payroll data.
  • Develop standard and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards and analytics.
  • Configure HR workflows, approvals and ESS functionality.
  • Support payroll integration and month-end/year-end processing.
  • Provide system support, training and troubleshooting.
  • Drive HRIS enhancements and continuous improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and statutory reporting.

Duties
  • Administer, maintain and optimise the SAGE 300 HRIS and Employee Self-Service (ESS) platform.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity and security of employee and payroll-related data.
  • Develop standard and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards and workforce analytics.
  • Configure HR workflows, approvals and ESS functionality.
  • Support payroll integration, month-end and year-end processing.
  • Provide system support, user training and troubleshooting.
  • Drive HRIS enhancements, upgrades and continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, audit requirements and statutory reporting standards.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems or a related field (NQF Level 6).
  • Formal certification or training in SAGE 300 or SAGE Premier HR (essential).
Experience:
  • 5 years' experience administering HR Information Systems.
  • Proven experience working with SAGE 300/Premier HR and Employee Self-Service (ESS).
  • Strong HR data management, reporting and workflow configuration experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • A solid understanding of HR and payroll processes.
  • Experience with system integrations, automation and HR technology.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
