Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Manager for our Rustenburg operation in the mining sector. This on-site role requires strategic HR leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives in line with business goals and safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in HRM or Industrial Psychology, 8–10 years HR experience (3+ in management), with solid knowledge of SA labour law and HRIS. Willingness to relocate to Rustenburg is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HRM or Industrial Psychology.
• 8–10 years progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
• Experience in mining/industrial/manufacturing sectors is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour law and industrial relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the HR department, ensuring the delivery of all HR services.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned to business goals and operational needs.
• Oversee talent acquisition for the Rustenburg site.
• Manage employee relations, addressing grievances, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with SA labour legislation, policies and safety regulations.
• Develop and manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness.
• Implement performance management systems to drive productivity and development.
• Oversee training and development initiatives to enhance workforce skills.
• Manage HR budgets and resources, fostering a safe and engaging work environment.
