Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field is required.
• Master’s degree or relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.
• 10+ years in mine operations management, with supervisory/management experience.
• Experience in open-pit or underground mining operations.
• Strong leadership, safety, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily mine operations to meet targets and standards.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Develop and manage operational budgets and control costs.
• Lead and develop a diverse team of supervisors, engineers, and staff.
• Oversee maintenance and utilization of mining equipment.
