Placements24 is seeking a Food & Beverage Director for a renowned resort and conference center in Rustenburg. The role leads strategic direction, operations, and profitability across all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, and in-room dining.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in F&B, with 3+ years in a director role, strong leadership, and a track record of improving service standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in F&B management with 3+ years at director level.
• Proven track record managing multiple outlets and achieving targets.
• Strong culinary and service standards knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Budgeting, P&L analysis, and cost control experience.
• Experience with menu development & inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive F&B strategy aligned with vision and financial goals.
• Manage P&L for all F&B operations, driving revenue and controlling costs.
• Oversee menu engineering, pricing, and new culinary concepts.
• Maintain consistent quality across outlets in food, presentation, and service.
• Lead and train F&B management team to achieve excellence.
• Ensure hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Drive marketing activities to boost traffic and revenue.
• Monitor industry trends and opportunities for innovation.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and heads for cohesive guest experience.
