Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Food & Beverage Director for a prestigious Randburg hotel. You will lead all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service, driving revenue, guest satisfaction, and cost control.

The role requires 8+ years in F&B with 3–5 years in a director-level position, strong financial acumen, and a track record of strategic leadership in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in F&B management, including 3–5 years in a Director or Senior Managerial role in a luxury hotel or high-volume F&B establishment.
• Proven track record in managing complex F&B operations and achieving financial targets.
• Strong knowledge of culinary trends, beverage management, service standards, and operational best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all F&B departments, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service.
• Develop and implement F&B strategies to enhance guest experience and profitability.
• Control costs, manage inventory, purchasing, and waste reduction to meet budgets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the F&B team to drive excellence.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation compliance across Randburg operations.
