Job summary

WesBank, part of FirstRand Group, is seeking a Relationship Analyst to support credit decisioning and risk management in North West Province. The role focuses on analysing credit data, delivering strong customer service, and strengthening client relationships within the broader banking portfolio.

The ideal candidate has a Commerce-related degree and 3–5 years of banking experience, with a clear understanding of NCA requirements and data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce or Business Banking Degree required.
• 3–5 years banking experience required.
• Credit record check required under National Credit Act (NCA).

Responsibilities

• Analyse credit data to estimate degree of risk in extending credit.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience against Balanced Scorecard standards.
• Maximise cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
• Comply with governance, legislative and audit requirements.
• Ensure effective data management and attend to expired limits.
• Prepare credit proposals for review by the Credit Product House.
• Follow procedures outlined in the Golden Rules.
