Job summary

FirstRand, via WesBank, is hiring a Relationship Analyst to support lending decisions by conducting in-depth credit analysis and delivering insights that balance risk with growth.

You will assess credit data, aim for exceptional customer experience, strengthen client relationships, and ensure governance and regulatory compliance. A Bachelor degree in Commerce or Business Banking and 3–5 years of banking experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce or Business Banking Degree.
• 3–5 years banking experience.
• Credit record check required under the National Credit Act (NCA).

Responsibilities

• Analyse credit data to estimate degree of risk in extending credit or lending money.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience against Balanced Scorecard standards.
• Maximise cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
• Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
• Ensure effective Data Management by attending to expired limits.
• Prepare credit proposals for review by the Credit Product House.
