Job summary

FirstRand Group in South Africa seeks a Relationship Analyst to conduct in-depth credit analysis to evaluate lending risks and support informed, responsible financial solutions aligned with client relationships.

You will analyse credit data, prepare proposals for review by the Credit Product House, ensure governance compliance, and contribute to sound risk management and sustainable growth in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce or Business Banking Degree.
• 3-5 years banking experience.
• In accordance with National Credit Act (NCA) candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check.

Responsibilities

• Analyse credit data to estimate degree of risk in extending credit or lending money in support of a broader client relationship
• Achieve the delivery of exceptional customer experience against the Balanced Scorecard standards
• Maximise Business Portfolio cross sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships
• Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements
• Prepare credit proposals for review by the Credit Product House Compliance with procedures and processes contained in the Golden Rules
