Job summary

FirstRand is seeking a Relationship Analyst within the credit risk team to analyse data, assess risk and support lending decisions. You will deliver superior customer experiences while aligning with the bank's client relationship strategy and governance standards.

The role requires 3–5 years banking experience, a relevant degree, and adherence to the National Credit Act. Based in Potchefstroom or Klerksdorp, offering a challenging environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce or Business Banking Degree required.
• 3–5 years banking experience preferred.
• Credit Act (NCA) record check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Analyse credit data to estimate degree of risk when extending credit or lending money.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience per Balanced Scorecard standards.
• Maximise cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with governance, procedures and audit requirements.
• Support effective data management and monitor expiring limits.
• Prepare credit proposals for review by the Credit Product House.
