Placements24 seeks a proactive Commercial Bank Relationship Manager for our Durban branch to develop a portfolio of commercial clients, understand their financial needs, and provide tailored banking solutions to drive long-term partnerships.

You will acquire new clients, deepen existing relationships, assess credit risk, and collaborate with credit analysts and product specialists to deliver cash management, trade finance, and lending solutions in KwaZulu-Natal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial banking, credit analysis, or relationship management.
• Proven success in business development and client acquisition.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and lending products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships and deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new commercial clients through prospecting, networking, and local market knowledge in Durban.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients and meet their banking needs.
• Analyze client financial statements and creditworthiness to assess risk and structure loan facilities.
• Provide expert advice on banking products, including cash management, trade finance, and lending solutions.
• Conduct regular client meetings and reviews to maintain relationships and identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with credit analysts and product specialists to deliver seamless client service.
