Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Commercial Banking Manager to lead and expand their commercial banking operations in Centurion. You will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, drive business development, and ensure delivery of exceptional banking services.

This leadership role requires building strong client relationships, overseeing a team of banking professionals, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial banking, credit analysis, or relationship management.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
• Strong understanding of credit assessment, risk management, and financial products within the Banking & Finance industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with the Centurion business landscape is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial client relationships, understanding their financial needs.
• Drive new business development through proactive client outreach and networking.
• Assess credit risk and approve commercial loan applications within established guidelines.
• Provide strategic financial advice and solutions to commercial clients.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of relationship managers and banking staff.
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies.
