Job summary

Placements24 in Sandton seeks an experienced Channel Partner Manager to lead indirect sales, recruit and enable partners, and drive revenue growth through partner ecosystems in the Gauteng region.

You will build strategic relationships with resellers and distributors, develop joint business plans, and provide training and marketing support to maximize channel performance. Travel to partner sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel partner management or channel sales.
• Proven track record of growing channel partner sales.
• Strong understanding of channel sales models and enablement strategies.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience in developing and executing joint business plans with partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy for the region.
• Recruit, onboard, and enable new channel partners (resellers, distributors, VARs).
• Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with existing channel partners.
• Drive sales performance through channel partners with training, marketing support, and sales enablement resources.
• Develop and implement joint marketing and sales plans with key partners.
• Monitor partner performance against targets and provide feedback and coaching.
• Negotiate partner agreements and ensure compliance with program terms.
• Identify new market opportunities and potential channel partners to expand coverage.
• Provide regular updates and forecasts on channel sales performance to management.
• Act as primary contact for channel partners and address their needs.
