Job summary

Global Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Developer – SETA to join our expanding team across South Africa. The role focuses on growing partnerships in the corporate training and skills development sector, engaging with HR and SDFs, and driving revenue through SETA-funded programmes and higher education offerings.

The candidate will build a robust sales pipeline, conduct presentations, and attend industry events, while maintaining CRM records and achieving targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Business Development or corporate sales.
• Experience in skills development, training, learnerships, or higher education is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities within the corporate training and skills development sector.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, employers, and key stakeholders.
• Promote SETA-funded programmes, learnerships, short courses, and higher education offerings.
• Identify and secure new corporate partnerships.
• Engage with SDFs, HR departments, and decision-makers.
• Conduct presentations, consultations, and information sessions.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
• Meet and exceed monthly business development and revenue targets.
• Attend networking events, industry conferences, and exhibitions.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reports.
