Job summary

Global Recruitment SA is seeking a Business Developer – SETA for a leading private higher education institution in South Africa. The role emphasizes developing corporate training, skills development, and strategic partnerships with SETAs and corporate clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Business Development or Corporate Sales.
• Experience within Skills Development, Training, Learnership, Higher Education, or SETA environment.
• Proven track record of achieving business development and sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities within the corporate training and skills development sector.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, employers, and key stakeholders.
• Promote SETA-funded programmes, learnerships, short courses, and higher education offerings.
• Identify and secure new corporate partnerships.
• Engage with Skills Development Facilitators (SDFs), HR departments, and decision-makers.
• Conduct presentations, consultations, and information sessions.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
• Meet and exceed monthly business development and revenue targets.
• Attend networking events, industry conferences, and exhibitions.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reports.
• Stay informed on SETA funding opportunities and industry developments.
