Job summary

Our client, a leading private higher education institution, is looking for experienced Business Developers – SETA to expand its corporate and skills development footprint across South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop corporate partnerships.
• Promote learnerships and skills development programmes.
• Identify SETA funding opportunities.
• Engage with employers regarding Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs).
• Build relationships with Skills Development Facilitators (SDFs).
• Generate new business opportunities.
• Meet business development and revenue targets.
• Ensure compliance with SETA requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years' Business Development experience.
• Experience within the Skills Development or Training industry.
• Knowledge of SETAs, learnerships and skills development legislation.
• Strong networking and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport (preferred).

Highly Advantageous

• Previous experience working with SETAs.
• SDF experience.
• Corporate training sales.
• Private higher education sector experience.
