Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking a Sales Consultant in Gauteng to build partnerships with industrial clients, driving value through consultative, cross-selling and on-site engagement. You will manage accounts, negotiate contracts, and contribute to growth through strategic advice and strong relationship building.

The role requires 3-5 years in gas or related industry, a degree or diploma in Sales/Marketing or Engineering, and a valid driver''s license.

Qualifications

3-5 years minimum sales experience in gas or related industry.
Degree/Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Engineering or equivalent.
Valid driver''s license required.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities and set up meetings with other divisions and stakeholders in current customer accounts.
Act as a strategic advisor through research to understand and anticipate customer needs.
Follow up and resolve customer queries and complaints through interdepartmental communication.
Conduct cylinder audits and report on customer satisfaction surveys; track payments within defined windows.
Establish open communication between customer and Air Liquide departments; prospect via cold calling and referrals.
Follow Air Liquide sales engagement process; set up meetings to diagnose needs and present offerings; negotiate pricing/contracts.
Construct financials (P&L) and diagnostic findings; communicate price increases timeously to customers; contribute to reports.
Report on activity and sales performance; research market trends and developments in territory.
Monitor territory developments and continuously learn Air Liquide products and solutions.
