Job summary

Venair is seeking a Technical Sales Executive for our Johannesburg, South Africa branch to drive growth in the FMCG, pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. You will engage end users, OEMs and engineering firms with industrial B2B solutions and process equipment.

Responsibilities include cold calling, client prospecting, travel across Gauteng and surrounding regions, maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering on sales targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or similar.
• 1–2 years B2B sales experience in FMCG/pharma/biotech sectors preferred.
• Reside in Gauteng area; valid B class license.
• Fluent English; Afrikaans a plus; strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently (≥50%).

Responsibilities

• Make cold calls and drive sales growth across assigned areas (North Johannesburg, Pretoria, Limpopo, North West, Eastern Cape, Free State).
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate future opportunities.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, quotes, follow-ups, closures, payments.
• Frequent visits and clear communication with customers in assigned regions.
• Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and represent Venair at events.
• Update CRM (Salesforce) with all commercial activities.
