Job summary

Venair seeks a Technical Sales Executive in Johannesburg to grow B2B sales for industrial silicone products serving FMCG, pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. You will prospect, visit clients, and manage the full sales cycle from cold calls to closing deals with a strong emphasis on CRM accuracy.

The role requires 50% travel across Gauteng and surrounding regions. A Bachelor’s degree, 1–2 years B2B sales experience, and a valid B license are expected; English is essential, Afrikaans a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science, Economics, Engineering or similar.
• B2B sales experience – 1 to 2 years with proven track record in green fields and sectors such as pharmaceutical or food & beverage.
• Reside within Gauteng area (preferable).
• Driving license class B mandatory.
• Proficiency in English; Afrikaans a plus.
• CRM experience (Salesforce and Odoo will be a plus).

Responsibilities

• Make cold calls, engage with specified customer segments and drive sales growth in assigned areas (North of Johannesburg, Pretoria, Limpopo, North West, Eastern Cape and Free State).
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to provide exceptional customer service and generate future sales opportunities.
• Prospecting to identify and pursue new business opportunities through the entire sales cycle to close new business (prospection, cold calling, business trips, quotations, follow-ups, sales closure, and payment collection).
• Frequent visits and communication to the assigned areas.
• Achieve sales goals by following proven processes and developing new ones.
• Champion company products by demonstrating product-specific knowledge.
• Regularly update the CRM system (Salesforce) with all commercial activities and efforts.
• Represent the company in exhibitions and trade fairs (as a visitor or exhibitor).
• Other sales tasks.
