Job summary

Stor-Age Property REIT Limited in Durban is seeking a dedicated Store Supervisor to lead a clothing retail team, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will supervise daily operations, uphold merchandising standards, manage stock levels, and schedule staff while meeting targets and maintaining brand integrity.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
• 2-3 years clothing retail experience (essential).
• Must have 2-3 years experience as a Supervisor.
• Strong sales ability with a target-driven mindset.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for store performance, sales, and profitability.
• Drive and exceed store sales targets, KPIs, and operational goals.
• Lead, mentor, and develop store teams including junior managers and supervisors.
• Oversee daily store operations and ensure operational excellence.
• Implement and maintain strong visual merchandising standards.
• Manage stock control, stock levels, and shrinkage prevention.
• Analyse sales reports and implement strategies to improve performance.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and brand experience.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes.
• Handle escalated customer queries and resolve complex issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and retail standards.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising daily store operations, ensuring targets are met, and maintaining high standards of merchandising, stock control, and customer engagement.

Minimum Requirements

Package & Remuneration

• R 9441 per month
• Provident Fund after 1 year of permanent employment, included in Salary above

Interested?

Month to month contract for 3 months, thereafter Permanent.

45 hours per week, 195 hours per month
