Greys Recruitment is seeking an energetic Store Supervisor for a new Paarl Mall store in a leading branded fashion retailer. You will lead a small sales team, drive daily sales, and ensure a premium customer experience through strong product knowledge and service excellence.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of supervisory retail experience, excellent communication, and a hands-on management style. Availability to start immediately and the ability to work weekends are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• 2–4 years' supervisory experience within fashion/retail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the retail store.
• Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a premium shopping experience.
• Drive sales through product knowledge, promotions, and customer engagement.
• Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing training and development.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of store staff.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained according to company guidelines.
• Manage stock control, stock takes, replenishment, and loss prevention.
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Monitor store housekeeping and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Open and close the store in accordance with company procedures.
• Prepare daily sales reports and assist with administrative duties.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are adhered to at all times.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum 2-4 years' supervisory experience within a fashion, apparel, footwear, or branded retail environment.
• Proven experience leading and motivating a retail sales team.
• Strong sales-driven mindset with a passion for customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good numerical ability and administrative skills.
• Experience with POS systems and retail reporting.
• Ability to work retail trading hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Well-groomed, professional, and fashion-conscious.
• Reliable transport to and from Walmer Park Shopping Centre.
• Must be available to start immediately.

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience working for a national fashion or apparel retailer.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising principles.
• Experience with stock management and shrinkage control.
