Job summary

Edgray Distributors (Pty) Ltd t/a JUMBO is seeking an Administration Controller to manage clerical processing and maintain store operation records. You will also handle office applications and ensure routine procedural information is up to date.

The role covers cash banking, administration, housekeeping, security/risk, customer service, and people management to support smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Must have Matric and an NQF 5 in Retail/Business Administration.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• 2–5 years in relevant sales/cashier environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash banking with Store Manager and ensure daily banking procedures.
• Maintain administration standards and prepare stock replenishment requisitions.
• Maintain daily filing (Cash Control, Petty Cash, Stock Control, Personnel, Internal Request).
• Authorize transactions at 5A level and manage RTS processes and cash desk spot checks.
• Oversee housekeeping and cleanliness in back office and cash desk area.
• Train staff in customer service and handle customer enquiries/complaints.
