Qualifications

• Matric Certificate.
• NQF 5/6 Certificate or Diploma in Retail/Business Management preferable.
• Valid Driver's License - Code 8 unendorsed.
• 2-5 years in relevant Sales/retail/operations environment as an Assistant Manager/ Manager.

Responsibilities

• Asset management: keep store exterior tidy and fixtures maintained.
• Stock control: manage stock, shrinkage and stock takes.
• Merchandising: optimize shelf layout and displays.
• Marketing and sales: implement promotions to maximise sales and lead staff.
• Administration and cash: ensure procedures, cash handling and reporting.
• Security/Risk: monitor security and health & safety compliance.
• Customer services: train staff and assist customers with enquiries.
• People management: assign duties and develop staff performance.
