Job summary

Edgray Distributors (Pty) Ltd t/a JUMBO seeks a Warehouse/Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse operations, including inbound, production, and outbound activities, and to manage fleet and procurement processes. The role focuses on cost control, productivity, and maintaining stock integrity.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years’ relevant experience, a Matric and a warehouse/logistics qualification, and a valid driver’s licence. Excellent leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate and a warehouse/logistics qualification are required.
• Valid Driver’s Licence is required.
• 5–10 years’ experience in a similar working environment.
• Strong leadership and cost-control mindset essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stock flow and ensure accuracy across inbound, production, and outbound areas.
• Manage staff planning, productivity, and adherence to SAW budgets.
• Control expenses and optimise transport, packing, and 3rd party logistics.
• Lead quality, efficiency, and accuracy improvement initiatives in the warehouse.
• Oversee procurement for stores and ensure timely delivery to locations.
• Report to EXCO and maintain alignment with company policies.
