Qualifications

• Grade 12 with at least 3 years related retail management experience or 5 years related retail management experience.
• Must have well developed business acumen.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be computer literate (Basic computer literacy).
• Must have strong leadership skills.
• Must have strong administrative skills.
• Own transport preferable with valid driver’s license.
• Must have own cell phone.
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety as per OHSA or local country legislation.
• Strong Human Resources Management skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage a strategic plan for the Store aligned with divisional and company strategy.
• Grow transactions, sales and market share; achieve sales budgets and growth.
• Manage customer loyalty programmes and 3rd party credit; protect markets from competition.
• Oversee store safety, stock control, and asset protection per policy.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA and local legislation across the store.
• Lead HR management: staffing, succession planning, training and ER.
• Maintain store standards, merchandising policies and housekeeping.
• Control stock orders, receipts, and obsolescence actions.
