Job summary

Cashbuild Limited is seeking an experienced Store Manager to protect and grow market share within a store, aligning with store, division, and company strategies. You will lead strategic planning, drive sales growth, and manage customer service across the store.

The role requires strong leadership, HR and administrative skills, and good health and safety knowledge. This position is based in Gauteng and requires own transport and a mobile phone for work.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with 3–5 years retail management experience
• Strong business acumen and ability to work under pressure
• Computer literacy and administrative skills
• Own transport and cell phone for work
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety (OHSA) and HR management

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a strategic plan for the store aligned to divisional strategy
• Grow transactions, sales and market share while meeting budgets
• Manage customer service and delivery service per company policy
• Protect assets and manage stock, shrinkage, and safety
• Ensure licenses are up to date and compliant across countries
• Oversee manpower planning, succession and employee relations
• Maintain store standards and merchandising policies
• Manage stock ordering, damaged stock, slow-moving and obsolete stock
