Job summary

iStore in City Bowl, Cape Town, is seeking a Store Manager to lead a dynamic team and deliver exceptional customer experiences while driving sales and upholding Apple brand standards.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, stock, merchandising, and reporting. The role requires five years in large retail teams, strong leadership, and a track record of achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completed Matric. (Tertiary Qualification would be advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years' experience leading large teams in a high-turnover, complex retail environment.
• Strong leadership and matrix management skills with the ability to drive collaboration across multiple departments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment while maintaining strategic oversight.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Strong operational and reporting skills, with experience using data to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop your store team to perform at their best.
• Ensure the store consistently meets or exceeds unit, financial, and developmental targets.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of Apple products and solutions to create a store synonymous with everything Mac in the eyes of your customers.
• Manage all in-store operations, including staffing, stock, merchandising, and customer experience.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with regional and head office teams.
• Analyse and report on store performance, trends, and customer insights.
• Uphold high standards in visual merchandising and brand representation.
• Drive operational excellence and identify areas for continuous improvement.
