Cashbuild is seeking a General Assistant (External Applications Only - Jouberton) to deliver friendly customer service in-store. You will help customers, merchandise stock, label shelves, and maintain store area cleanliness and safety.

The role requires basic math skills, good communication in English and local language, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Applicants should have Grade 10 or Grade 12 with relevant exposure, and a valid SA ID or work permit.

Competenze

• Minimum Grade 10 or NQF 3 and 1 year work related experience, or Grade 12 without related work experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant local language.
• Valid South African ID or work permit.
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Able to work under pressure.

Mansioni

• Provide comprehensive customer service in-store.
• Merchandise stock and label shelf prices.
• Keep designated area clean and orderly.
• Ensure area is fully merchandised according to store layout and planograms.
• Ensure safe access for customers in the aisle and quick restocking after receipt of stock.
• Correct shelf price labeling within area of responsibility.
• Complete required checklists when on duty with canteen and washroom schedules.
• Assist customers with queries and resolve complaints.
