Cashbuild in Boabab is seeking a General Assistant for internal applications, focused on delivering comprehensive customer service in-store, merchandising stock, labeling prices, and maintaining cleanliness within your area.

The role requires the ability to communicate in English and the local language, basic calculations, and willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. SA ID or work permit is required, with a proactive approach to safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 or NQF 3 and 1 year work related experience
• Grade 12 without related work experience
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available
• Valid South African ID or work permit
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Must be able to work under pressure

Responsabilités

• Customer Service: Advise and assist Customers on correct products and queries
• Safety (OHSA) Requirements: Ensure area of responsibility and handling stock safely
• Merchandising: BulK stock area to be merchandised and ensure layout alignment
• Stock management: Ensure area fully merchandised per store layout and planograms
• Store safety: Keep area free of obstacles and ensure safe entry/exit for customers
• Labelling: Ensure correct shelf price labelling within area of responsibility
