Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 or NQF 3 with 1 year related work experience.
• Grade 12 without related work experience.
• Must be able to communicate in English and the dominant local language.
• Valid South African ID or work permit.
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist customers on correct products and queries.
• Assist with and resolve customer complaints.
• Merchandise bulk stock areas safely and according to store layout.
• Ensure area is fully merchandised and price labelling is accurate.
• Keep area free of obstacles and ensure safe customer access.
• Complete checklists as required when on duty with canteen and toilet schedules.
• Maintain OHSA safety compliance within area of responsibility.
• Report discrepancies and damaged stock to Store Manager.
