Job summary

Cashbuild Limited is hiring a General Assistant (Internal Applications Only - Moutsiya). You will ensure comprehensive customer service in-store, merchandise stock, label shelves, and maintain housekeeping within your area.

The role requires English communication and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Qualifications include Grade 10/NQF 3 with 1 year related experience or Grade 12 without related work experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 or NQF 3 with 1 year related work experience
• Grade 12 without related work experience
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant local language
• Valid SA ID or work permit
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Able to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist Customers on correct products and queries
• Assist with and resolve Customer complaints
• Bulk stock area merchandised safely and per store layout plan
• Area fully merchandised according to store layout and planograms
• Area kept free of obstacles; stock merchandised after receipt; customers can enter/exit aisle safely
• Correct shelf price labelling within area of responsibility
• Complete Checklist on duty with Canteen and Toilet/Showers schedule
• OHSA safety compliance and report discrepancies to Store Manager
• Keep area safe for Customers and Colleagues to move in store
