Job summary

TFG (The Foschini Group) is seeking a Store Administrator to support stock takes, analyse stock movement, and uphold store administration within a KwaZulu-Natal store. The role emphasizes customer service, sales, and accurate reporting.

The successful candidate will possess a Grade 12, at least 3 years retail or admin experience, and the ability to work shifts. Proficiency with POS systems and MS Office is preferred, with a passion for fashion and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 and at least 3 years retail or admin experience.
• Be computer literate and proficient with basic office software.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills and sales orientation.
• Able to work shifts and handle store administration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with stock take and store administration.
• Monitor and analyse stock movement within the store.
• Implement risk management to mitigate stock losses and shrinkage.
• Ensure compliance of all administration, systems and reporting procedures.
• Extract store reports to analyse turnover and stock performance.
• Present information to the Store Manager.
• Organise and maintain in-store filing systems.
• Monitor cash/transactions to ensure processes are followed.
• Uphold in-store safety and security procedures.
• Process customer transactions via POS system.
• Identify customer needs through professional engagement.
• Promote cash reward programs to build loyalty.
• Improve customer experience and satisfaction.
• Follow visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.
• Develop selling skills and product knowledge.
• Work in a team to meet sales targets and store objectives.
• Stay in sync with the latest fashion trends.
