Job summary

Spinnaker Software is seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our Operations team in Cape Town. You will coordinate stock dispatches, manage courier bookings, and maintain accurate stock records to support efficient logistics across branches.

The role requires strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a 100% office-based position based in Cape Town.

Qualifications

• Based in Cape Town.
• Valid South African driver7s licence.
• Experience in logistics, stock control or a similar operational support role.
• Strong computer literacy, especially in Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate stock dispatches and prepare/dispatch stock.
• Manage courier bookings and delivery documentation.
• Maintain accurate stock records and stock movement tracking.
• Support stock control processes and administrative logistics tasks.
• Conduct stock counts and maintain procurement records.
• Provide reporting on courier and stock-related activities.
• Liaise with branches and internal stakeholders.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Controller to join our Operations team based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating stock dispatches, managing courier bookings, maintaining accurate stock records, supporting stock control processes, and ensuring efficient administration of logistics activities. Key responsibilities include preparing and dispatching stock, managing delivery documentation and waybills, tracking demo and loan equipment, conducting stock counts, maintaining procurement and logistics records, and providing reporting on courier and stock-related activities. The role requires strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

• Based in Cape Town.
• Valid South African driver's licence.
• Previous experience in logistics, stock control, warehousing, procurement administration, or a similar operational support role.
• Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
