Job summary

Spinnaker Software is seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our Cape Town Operations team. This role focuses on coordinating stock dispatches, courier bookings, and stock records to support branches and stakeholders.

Based in Cape Town and office-based, the role requires Excel and Outlook proficiency, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Controller to join our Operations team based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating stock dispatches, managing courier bookings, maintaining accurate stock records, supporting stock control processes, and ensuring efficient administration of logistics activities. Key responsibilities include preparing and dispatching stock, managing delivery documentation and waybills, tracking demo and loan equipment, conducting stock counts, maintaining procurement and logistics records, and providing reporting on courier and stock-related activities. The role requires strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

• Based in Cape Town.
• Valid South African driver's licence.
• Previous experience in logistics, stock control, warehousing, procurement administration, or a similar operational support role.
• Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
