Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead wine and spirits sales across Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will build distribution networks, coach a sales team, and drive revenue through strategic channel management.

The role demands strong leadership, deep market knowledge of wine and spirits, and the ability to travel within the region. You will collaborate with distributors, retailers, hotels, and restaurants to elevate brand presence and performance.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in wine, spirits, or FMCG.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team.
Strong knowledge of Western Cape beverage market and distribution networks.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet and exceed targets for wines and spirits.
Manage, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives.
Expand distribution channels and identify new business opportunities within the region.
Build relationships with key accounts including distributors, retailers, restaurants and hotels.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
