Job summary

Saint-Gobain South Africa in Midrand seeks a technically oriented sales professional to drive specification-led growth in construction sectors. You will manage key accounts, identify projects, and secure specifications for our products in the market.

The role requires 5+ years in technical/project sales, a related degree (Civil/Building Science/Architecture), a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in technical or project sales within construction sectors.
• Degree/ND in Civil Engineering, Construction, Building Science or Architecture.
• Valid driver's license; proficient in SAP and MS Office.
• Experience in project specification and interpreting technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales, volume, margin and profitability targets.
• Manage relationships with distributors, contractors, applicators and end users.
• Identify projects at concept and design stage and develop relationships with architects, engineers, QSs, developers and project managers.
• Maintain Salesforce opportunities and project pipeline.
• Submit reports, forecasts and monthly reviews.
