Job summary

The Sales Recruiters (PTY) Ltd is seeking a professional with genuine road construction industry experience to move into a technical sales role. You will work with advanced technology that improves planning and execution for heavy civil projects in Gauteng, with travel across the region.

Initially you will be based in the office for six months to build product knowledge, then transition to a hybrid model (office/home/field).

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Management or a construction/engineering related field.
Experience or strong exposure to the road construction industry.
Understanding of road construction processes, equipment, technology or site requirements.
Previous B2B, technical or solution-based sales experience would be advantageous.
Proven ability to build relationships and develop new business, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Willingness to learn sophisticated technology and solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with construction companies and key decision-makers.
Identify new business opportunities and understand customer challenges in road construction.
Position technology-driven solutions to improve accuracy, productivity and efficiency on sites.
Work with technical specialists and a team to learn and sell advanced technology.
Travel across Gauteng and surrounding regions as required, with initial office focus before hybrid arrangement.
