Job summary

Phoenix Recruitment is seeking a Seasonal Spa Receptionist for a Luxury Spa near Stellenbosch. The role runs from September 2026 through April 2027, focusing on a warm, professional guest welcome and seamless reception operations.

You will manage spa bookings, answer calls and emails, process payments and vouchers, promote spa treatments and products, and maintain accurate client records while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and a relevant diploma in aesthetics is advantageous.
• 2–3 years' spa reception and/or administration experience.
• Familiarity with Shedul Spa reservations system is an advantage.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and MS Office proficiency.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Luxury Spa at a high-end Estate close to Stellenbosch is looking for an experienced Seasonal Spa Receptionist (September 2026 - April 2027) responsible for providing a warm and professional welcome to guests, managing spa bookings and enquiries, processing payments and assisting with the day-to-day reception operations.

The successful candidate will also promote spa treatments and products while ensuring that guests receive an exceptional and seamless experience.

Duties:

• Offering a warmly welcoming and assisting guests
• Managing spa reception and appointments
• Answering calls and emails
• Processing bookings, payments and vouchers, and providing accurate information about spa services, products and promotions.
• Assisting walk-in guests
• Managing client records
• Communicating appointment updates to staff
• Promoting and cross-selling spa services and products
• Introducing guests to new products and their benefits
• Gathering guest feedback
• Processing and packaging online orders, coordinating couriers
• Following up on pre-payments
• Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area
• Ensuring displays are fresh and eye-catching
• Ordering reception supplies as required.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of the product and overall guest experience while consistently providing a warm, professional and efficient service.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Relevant diploma in aesthetics will be an advantage
• Preferably 2-3 years' experience in spa reception and/or administration
• Familiarity with the Shedul Spa reservations system will be an advantage
• Good human relations and excellent telephone etiquette
• Proficient in using MS Office to process and store information
• Excellent multitasking, organisational and time-management skills
• Good knowledge of beauty products with the ability to promote them to clients
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively promote the spa's products and services
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
