Flowserve is seeking a Sales Engineer in Johannesburg to develop and maintain relationships with key customers, understand purchase agreements, and coordinate channel partners.

You will drive bookings, support regional sales goals, and work with engineering and manufacturing to meet customer needs, while demonstrating ROI-based selling and strong product knowledge. This role offers opportunities to travel to customer sites and contribute to strategic growth in the region.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the design and operational requirements of rotating pumps and seals.
• Strong product demonstrations and business writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Drive bookings levels to meet or exceed assigned bookings goal.
• Maintain regular communication with key customers in the area.
• Develop and implement regional marketing plans to support sales goals.
• Serve customers as primary contact for all business dealings, handling proposals and deliveries.
• Educate customers on product quality, features and uses using marketing materials.
• Collaborate with application engineers, service and manufacturing to meet customer needs.
• Maintain organized records including quotes, status, expenses, and reports.
• Demonstrate financial acumen discussing ROI in solution selling.
• Work independently and communicate productively; some physical site visits.
• Other duties as assigned.
