Job summary

Weskus Personeel in Elandsfontein, Gauteng, is seeking an organised Materials Controller (Solar / Industrial Warehousing) to manage stock flow across projects. The role focuses on accurate BOM preparation, packing and timely dispatch to support seamless project execution.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in warehousing or project logistics, with knowledge of PV components. The position requires Matric and proficiency with inventory systems; electrical/solar industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Matric and 3+ years in warehousing, stock control or project logistics.
• Experience in electrical, solar or construction industry preferred.
• Computer literate with inventory/warehouse management systems.
• Post-school qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain advantageous.
• Knowledge of PV components advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and pack project BOMs for dispatch.
• Coordinate timely dispatch of materials to project schedules.
• Identify stock shortages and report before deadlines.
• Maintain accurate stock binning, labelling and organisation.
• Perform monthly cycle counts and reconcile with records.
• Handle returned project materials and quarantine faulty items.
• Prepare dispatch notes, delivery docs and proof of delivery.
• Collaborate with logistics teams on schedules and timelines.
• Maintain safety and SHEQ compliance in warehouse.
• Ensure racking and hazardous storage compliance.
