Job summary

Exceed HR and Recruitment is seeking an Inventory Controller for a role based in Stellenbosch. You will manage receipt, storage and traceability of electronic components, mechanical parts and production materials, and prepare production kits to ensure manufacturing has required materials.

The position requires at least 3 years of related experience, an N4 or equivalent qualification, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• National Technical Certificate (N4 minimum), relevant diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, storage, issuing and traceability of components and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, perform stock reconciliations and cycle counts.
• Prepare and issue production kits; ensure materials are available for manufacturing.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of components, including ESD-safe practices and humidity-controlled storage.
• Coordinate incoming goods inspections and support quality and traceability requirements.
• Manage consumables stock, assist with procurement, and prepare finished products for shipment.
