Job summary

Fouche & Co Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Social Media Coordinator to manage multiple brands’ Facebook and Instagram presences. You will schedule content, maintain calendars and respond to audience inquiries, ensuring timely delivery across channels.

You will also build mailers in Mailchimp, keep CRM data clean, and perform basic website updates to align with campaigns. Strong English writing and calendar discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• 1–2 years' experience managing social media for a business across multiple brands.
• Hands-on experience scheduling in Meta Business Suite or similar tools.
• Experience with building and sending campaigns in Mailchimp.
• Comfort with basic WordPress/Wix/Shopify updates and proofreading.

Key Responsibilities

• Social media management (Meta)
  • Plan, schedule and publish content across Facebook and Instagram for all brands within the group
  • Build and maintain a content calendar so every brand is serviced consistently
  • Use Meta Business Suite to schedule posts, stories and promotions
  • Monitor pages for comments and messages, and escalates or respond as required
  • Keep brand pages up to date (business info, opening hours, promotions, pinned posts)
  • Report on basic performance (reach, engagement, follower growth) on a regular basis
• Email marketing (Mailchimp)
  • Build, schedule and send mailers and newsletters
  • Maintain and update mailing lists, ensuring clean and compliant data (POPIA)
  • Report on open and click rates
• Website maintenance (basic)
  • Make simple backend updates: dates, pictures, banners, promotional info
  • Ensure website information matches current social and email campaigns
  • Escalate anything technical to the relevant developer or service provider
• General
  • Coordinate with brand owners and management to gather content, approvals and promotional details
  • Keep accurate records of what has been scheduled and sent per brand
  • Meet posting and mailer deadlines across multiple brands at once

Requirements

• Matric
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience managing social media for a business, ideally across more than one brand or page
• Hands-on experience scheduling in Meta Business Suite (or similar scheduling tools)
• Working knowledge of Mailchimp (building and sending campaigns, managing lists)
• Comfortable making basic backend website updates (e.g. WordPress, Wix, Shopify or similar)
• Strong written English, with careful attention to detail and proofreading
• Reliable, well organised and able to manage a calendar across multiple brands

Remuneration

R18 000 - R22 000
