Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Social Impact Program Officer to manage and grow community initiatives, ensuring they address real needs and deliver measurable outcomes. You will collaborate with beneficiaries, partners and internal teams to design, implement and evaluate programs with sustainability at the core.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related field, at least 4 years in program management within the non-profit sector, strong analytical and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, International Development, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of program management experience in the non-profit or development sector.
• Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and evaluating social programs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
• Experience working with Gauteng region communities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of social impact programs.
• Conduct needs assessments and feasibility studies to identify new program opportunities.
• Develop program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with community stakeholders, government agencies, and NGOs.
• Oversee program monitoring and evaluation, collect data to measure impact.
• Prepare regular program reports for internal stakeholders and external donors.
• Ensure programs align with the organization's mission, values, and strategic objectives.
