Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Community Program Manager to lead social initiatives from a remote setting in South Africa. You will oversee strategic planning, development, and execution of programs addressing community needs and ensure measurable social impact.

You will manage budgets, build partnerships, mentor staff, and report outcomes using data. A Master’s degree and at least seven years in program management, including leadership, are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field is required.
• 7+ years of progressive program management experience with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Strong strategic thinking, planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with virtual stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for community-focused programs.
• Oversee all aspects of program lifecycle from design to evaluation.
• Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders and partners.
• Manage program budgets with resource accountability.
• Lead and mentor program staff and foster high-performance culture.
• Measure and report on program outcomes and impact using data.
